Andy nuzzles soft curls, squeezing Roger closer.

“Are you trying to strangle me?” Roger asks, stretching languorously, back pressed to Andy’s chest.

11. Lightning

“I’ve always wondered what it would be like to be struck by lightning,” Roger says.

Andy stops, tugs on Roger’s hand. “Roger,” he says, “you’re scaring me.”

“It’s so powerful,” Roger muses, watching a fork strike a lightning rod across town.

Jimmy looks up as Andy shuts the French doors behind him, raises his eyebrows. “Friends, huh?”

06. Thunder

“Andy,” Jimmy says, “you hired me to help you improve your game.”

012. Wind

Andy sits Roger on the couch and hikes the thermostat by about ten degrees. “Don’t move,” he tells Roger, “I’m making you warm… tea or coffee?”

“Tea then,” Andy says, and tosses a blanket at Roger as he marches into the kitchen. “Wrap yourself in that,”

“Roger,” Andy says, “I really hope you have a good reason for being out here in the snow like that,”

“No,” Roger says, and flops over backwards, apparently immune to the chill of snow on bare flesh.
